This article on Art Westchester is brought to you by the personal injury attorneys White Plains, NY, from Banville Law.
For over 50 years, ArtsWestchseter and Westchester County Government have partnered up to invest over 35 million in the growth of arts, culture, and growth in the community.
This investment has been able to provide community programs such as:
Once known as the iconic Peoples National Bank & Trust Company, the building was built in 1929 and welcomed the community of White Plains with its Neoclassical architecture. The former bank lobby inside the entrance of the building remains standing tall with 40-foot ceilings, marble floors, and accidents of walnut and bronze filigree.
In 1998, the unique building presented an amazing opportunity for the right buyer. The ArtsWestchester Board and Executive Director purchased it from JP Morgan Chase, which later on retired the mortgage and donated the building to the organization.
ArtsWestchester offers so many diverse ways to help promote new artists and organizations in the community. The most significant way you can give back is to come to visit the establishment.
They provide a showroom and gallery filled with an assortment of talented artists who can display their works of art for everyone to enjoy. To visit, check out their website online to purchase tickets and see a sneak peek of what types of artists you might see.
