Located in Jericho, New York, Meadow Brook Golf Club was established in 1894 by members of the Meadow Brook Hunt Club in Westbury, New York. The Club was originally designed as a hunting club, which eventually developed into a popular polo club several decades later.

History Of The Course

In 1894, a nine-hole golf course was created for the Meadow Brook Club and was located in Hempstead, New York. Within its first year open to the public, it gained a lot of attention as the host for the first national women's golf tournament held in 1895. Soon after, the club was asked to be a member of the United States Golf Association and since then, it has grown a considerable amount of dedicated members and golfers from all around Long Island.

In 1953, a new site for the golf course was selected in Jericho, due to the club's newly acquired name, Meadow Brook Polo Club. With nearly two years of construction, installations, fresh lush green landscaping, and new facilities, the Club officially opened its golf course in June of 1955.

Special Programs

Aside from the Club's iconic course that attracts thousands of guests annually, they are also well-known for their Management Mentoring Program. The program itself is available for students to apply for seasonally and provides a variety of educational opportunities.

The Club prides itself on the importance of providing interactive experiences to our future children, which is why they offer to mentor for several departments at the Country Club. Some managed departments include food production, maintenance, locker room operations, concierge services, accounting, and several others.
