Tibbetts Brook Park is known as one of the very first parks developed in Westchester County and was named after George Tippet, a local pioneer settler during the colonial era. The park is located in the Lincoln Park region of Yonkers and opened in 1927. Today, it spans at 161-acres of space filled with activities that include a variety of sports fields and courts, hiking trails, swimming pools, a miniature water park, tons of nature watching, and fishing.
